A mix of retro charm and contemporary design, the Amp lamp offers a beautiful combination of noble materials. It consists of a thin shade of coloured glass attached to a brass base. The delicacy of the lampshade, light as a bubble, is counterbalanced by the glamorous, sensual appearance of marble. The choice of quality materials and elaborate shape of the lampshade give this lamp a sophisticated, timeless feel worthy of the greatest design icons.
The “Amp” lamp collection is the work of Danish designer Simon Legald. The idea for the shape of these lamps came to him one day when he was restoring an old radio dating from the 1960s: he loved the glow given off by the tube amplifier.
