A moulded chair for Moroso by internationally acclaimed design couple Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien. IMPOSSIBLE WOOD references the genre of light, graceful, bent wood frame chairs impossible to make in any other way than by injection moulding. The chair is made from liquid wood, a bio-plastic consisting of wood fibre and polypropylene. This new material is shapeable like plastic but the look and feel are reminiscent of wood. The chair’s curved seat contrasts with its slender chrome-plated steel legs. The result is a delicate looking and long-lasting chair for indoor and outdoor use.
