ARTISANAT

Craftsmanship is one of the inseparable rediscoveries in the ecodesign approach of our partners.

The art of designers and publishing houses is characterized by the ability to bring modernity and innovative technicality to revisit the existing in all areas of creation, both for indoor and outdoor furniture, carpets, ceramics and earthenware and the sophisticated art of blown glass.

You will find among our suppliers a rigorous selection of brands that fully adhere to this creative spirit selected by Ekla since its creation.

For Moroso , the choice fell mainly on the M’afrique collection for its braiding craftsmanship produced in Senegal. As for the Nanimarquina rugs, it is the hand-woven craft that will be defended.

The Forestier and SECTO design brands have been selected for their wood craftsmanship in the creation of their lamps. This craft is also represented at EKLA by Normann Copenhagen for their seats and closer to us by the Daniel de Robillard editions , Noon Edition + Gravel & Dust thanks to their collection of furniture and objects produced in Mauritius.

Metal craftsmanship is present at EKLA thanks to Edition Serge Mouille . The lights created in the 1950s have been reissued for 10 years. The original pieces are reproduced with the greatest respect for the quality and the very special manufacturing methods that have made the designer famous.

The vases of Milan Pekar magnificently represent the craftsmanship of ceramics just like the precious objects of Laurence Brabant and the lamps of the BROKIS editions , the craftsmanship of mouth-blown glass.
