Patrizia Moroso, the second generation of an Italian family-run business spent most of her childhood in a factory and grew to feel at home in large industrial spaces. Adventurous in her vision, she is a traveller and treads the unbeaten path. Today as Art Director of Moroso, she is known for her “bold strokes”, always on the look-out for new forms and functions. Her collections and collaborations can be thought of as invitations to travel.

The vibrancy and novelty of her collections remind us how design takes its inspiration from art and becomes its vector in the dailyness of our lives. Patricia Moroso prides herself on attracting both well-established and newly-tapped design talents, Patricia Urquiola, Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien, David Adjaye, Marc Newson, Tokujin Yoshioka, amongst others, who are most successful in interpreting the world we live in and its dreams.
